Just a thought…
Just think for a minute that as you read this, over 300 million women across the planet are menstruating right now. Though every single one of them will have a slightly different experience, the same hormonal and physiological processes are going on. So, here’s an overview to help chart the science behind your monthly cycle.
At Script Wellness, our team of experts range across many different fields and life stages, but we all share one key belief, that girls and women should be taught about their bodies and their cycles. Equally, they should be listened to on matters of mental and physical wellness, where they have previously been dismissed or silenced. We are interested in reducing the stigma of periods, circulating knowledge and relying on nature for consistently effectual wellness solutions.
Periods usually begin at around the age of 12, although some girls will start them earlier or later. A delay in starting periods isn’t usually a cause for concern. Most girls will be having regular periods by age 16 to 18. https://www.nhs.uk
