Our products are tested extensively before they are released to Script Wellness customers. Script Wellness products, like most alternative therapies, have not been subjected to the testing rigour that applies to synthetic pharmaceuticals. This is because all ingredients are natural and the products are very safe to use. Efficacy is proven by the vast number of repeat customers that Script Wellness enjoys. Like most natural products and supplements, we do not expect Script Wellness products to work for everyone.

Most of the ingredients are certified organically produced. However, we cannot assure that every ingredient is fully organic and therefore we cannot add organic certification. Our menstruation oil, for example, is 96% organic at this stage. We are working hard to increase the proportion of organic ingredients closer to 100%.

The active ingredients are Black Cumin Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil and St John's Wort macerate, combined with other essential oils for skin moisturising and conditioning.

Script Ease Oil will last for up to 18 months if kept out of direct sunlight and below 30°C. It is always best to store the oil bottle inside the cardboard carton.

The amount of CBD in Script Ease oil is 0.2%.

The essential aromatherapy oils are usually 100% pure. If an essential oil is mixed with a carrier oil such as olive oil, e.g. 2% rose oil or jasmine oil, then this is noted explicitly.

When the oil is applied to the skin, it takes between 40 and 60 minutes for it to be fully absorbed and detected in the blood. The effect of the oil remains for 10 to 12 hours.

Some oils, such as citrus oils like lemon and orange, can stain clothing. Please follow the application instructions on the product carton or label: these will ensure optimal effect and minimise the chance of staining.

St John’s Wort can compromise the efficacy of some medications. If you are on medication please check with your doctor or pharmacist if the oil is safe to use.

Hemp and cannabis are both the same species. Typically hemp contains higher amounts of CBD while cannabis contains more THC.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a natural compound extracted from the hemp plant. There are over 170 cannabinoids identified and extracted from hemp plants, of which CBD is one. Our CBD comes from a particular type of hemp called Cannabis Sativa. CBD is often associated with positive therapeutic properties. It has no psychoactive effects.

THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is a cannabinoid also derived from the cannabis plant. It is associated with psychoactive and intoxicating effects (a “high”) and also has particular therapeutic effects. Script Wellness products do not contain THC and are regularly tested to ensure that THC is not present.

Script Wellness products are produced in the UK and in Europe. For example, the menstruation product is formulated in Switzerland, mixed in Germany and packaged in the UK.
